many great businesses base their success and longevity on the friendship of the founders. that's the formula working at MikWright. for over 20 years, MikWright has set the pace for outlandish, provocative humor.
tim mikkelsen is a transplanted minnesotan living in charlotte, north carolina. after years in the airline industry, tim (along with his ditch-cat, Rudy) now writes and enjoys an occasional vodka tonic while toiling in the kitchen.
reared on a minnesota farm, tim is the youngest of three boys. his parents still own the farm where tim grew up on dirt bikes and too much sugar. not surprisingly, tim was his high school class clown.
phyllis, also a retired airline customer service representative is a coffee critic and the vibrance behind MikWright.
born an "air force brat," phyllis spent her formative years in italy, colorado, tennessee and texas. phyllis and family live in a citified-farm house outside of charlotte. phyllis was once a feature segment on CNN when someone's city pigs got loose in her vegetable garden. she was eight months pregnant.
bob williams, a friend from airline days, takes on the roles of both tim or phyllis when he's not lolly-gagging around in the shipping department. bob's innate wit fits right in at MikWright.
"we ain't right, we're MikWright!"
